elements of a city
This (2019) is a portrait of an abstract city. It lives somewhere behind my eyes and between my ears. The places are both existing and imagined.
The beauty of a city hides in the silence of the suburbs. It travels through heating pipes. Moves the stairs of underground passages and holds the concrete slabs of residential apartment blocks.
It smokes out of the cigarette of a man waiting for a bus. You can buy it at newsstands but after three days it withers in your ex-girlfriend's vase.
